Moving Tips
Check out our safety tips to get ready for moving day.
- Use blankets to wrap pictures, mirrors and TVs that have no box.
- Leave mattress covers on mattresses to avoid dirt and dust on your mattress.
- Take light bulbs out of lamps and take lamp shades separately in your vehicle if possible.
- Use garbage bags for pillows, cushions and clothing on hangers.
- Empty all dresser drawers prior to the arrival of your movers.
- User light duty tape to keep drawers in dressers closed.
- Tape or tie electrical cords so they won't trip movers or get damaged.
- Take any valuables in your car with you.
- Keep children and pets away from movers and opened doors.
- Do not pack boxes too heavy, otherwise they may crush other boxes when stacked in truck.
- Be packed and ready to move prior to your movers arriving.
- Take loose unpacked items in your car so that you do not slow down the movers.
- Your moving time starts when Super Movers arrives. Your moving time ends when Super Movers is finished with your move.
- Please have funds immediately available for payment.
- Loose or bagged items are harder to safely transport in our trucks, we are not responsible if these items are damaged.
- Super Movers is not required to pack your loose items, perform garbage removal or loading/unloading your vehicle.
- Any addtional time, mileage or truck loads wil be available to you if needed at an additional cost.
